Help & Support

Rebit has two types of transfer limits:

Operational order limit
Each transfer route has a minimum and maximum amount for a single order. If your amount falls outside this range, an error will appear. For example, “Sending amount should be between NZD 100 and NZD 10,000.”

This limit may change temporarily and may depend on banking or operational restrictions in the sending country.

Monthly and annual route limits
Each route has separate monthly and annual limits. You can view the available limits in your Rebit Account.

If you reach or exceed a limit, Rebit may contact you to verify your source of funds/wealth. Supporting documents are requested on a risk-based basis and should be submitted through Account > Verification.

This means each order in the selected currency must be between $X and $Y.
You may be able to submit multiple orders to utilise your monthly allowance fully. Alternatively, contact us via chat and we may be able to submit an order manually for you.

Read more about limits in this article.

If you have reached your monthly transfer limit, and you wish to increase it, you need to verify your source of funds/wealth. That is for the currency you're paying in.
Please send all supporting documents by email to [email protected] and explain your nature and purpose for the transfer.

To download proof of income from the Inland Revenue (IRD) website and demonstrate your source of funds, follow these steps:
  1. Log in to myIR.
  2. Open Print Proof of Income and select Last income tax year.
  3. Download the PDF file.
  4. Go to the Rebit app and upload the downloaded PDF file through Account > Verification > Additional Documents, or use the Increase Limit message box when you exceed your limits.

Depending on your source of funds (or source of wealth) in New Zealand, you can provide the following documents as proof. We will then assess your documents and increase your limits for sending money with Rebit. Please send all supporting documents via ACCOUNT > VERIFICATION page.
