About the Wellington Gold Awards
Rebit has been selected as a finalist in the Technology Gold category at the 2025 Wellington Gold Awards. This milestone places us alongside a group of inspiring local innovators who continue to strengthen the region’s tech sector.
Since their establishment in 1999, the Wellington Gold Awards have celebrated the excellence and enterprise of businesses across the Greater Wellington Region and Horowhenua. Over time, they have become a key event that showcases how local businesses contribute to innovation and economic growth.
The awards encompass eight main industry categories, including Creative, Innovation, Emerging Products, Emerging Services, Global, Supporting, Vibrant, and Technology. Additionally, there are two Best Practice Awards: Employer of the Year and Green Gold.
Celebrating Technological Excellence
The Technology Gold category highlights companies that are actively pushing the boundaries of what technology can achieve. Past winners exemplify the diversity and strength of Wellington’s tech scene. Notable recipients include:
- Arlo Software (2023): Recognised for their impactful course management solutions.
- PartsTrader (2022): Celebrated for their contributions to the automotive parts industry.
- Volpara Health Technologies (2020): Acknowledged for advancements in health technology.
- Sharesies (2019): Honoured for revolutionising investment accessibility.
These companies have set benchmarks in their respective domains, and we’re pleased to be considered alongside them.
